Mme. VanBergen’s class was ready to get into math after their March Break. Here they are in action, building 3-dimensional shapes like cubes, cuboids, prisms, pyramids, and octahedrons. Stay tuned for the shapes they’re creating.
Great question Morgan. In geometry, we usually say that a face is a flat surface. So, a cylinder would have 2 faces. This one always gets me too! Good for you for noticing that a cylinder is made up of 2 circles and a rectangle.
OMG YOU PUT MY PICTURE ON THE BLOG!!!!! Thanks.
Ya thanks for putting my picture too : ) <3 <3
Miss Kristalyn, I was wondering if a cylinder has 3 faces because if you cut it it turns into a rectangle.

When I watched the video it explained, but it didn’t say if it only had 2 faces or 3.
